Trophy for the Best Organic or Biodynamic Wine of the 2017 Royal Melbourne Wine Show & a Gold Medal (96/100) in its class.
Also short listed for the top wine in show, not bad considering it is a $20-25 wine up against some wines from some of the big players, retailing between in $30-$100.
Vibrant cherry red with purples edges. Aromatics of dark berry fruits, blackberry, and ripe cherries, black pepper and warm spices rounded out with a hint of vanilla. The palate is a well balanced, with primary fruit purity, and exceptional flavour density. Flavours linger and flavour complexity develops once opened so give it a bit of time to breath.
